Atos Medical Provox Standard LaryTube is a soft silicone laryngectomy tube that maintains the opening of the tracheostoma. It can be used to attach a Provox HME or a Provox FreeHands Speaking Valve. More Information

  • Inserting the Provox LaryTube:
    - Lightly moisten the tube with a water soluble lubricant
    - Insert the Provox LaryTube into the tracheostoma
    - Attach the Provox LaryTube with Provox LaryClip, a Provox TubeHolder, or a Provox Adhesive
    - Insert the Provox HME or FreeHands HME into the cassette holder
  • Cleaning the Provox LaryTube:
    - Scrub thoroughly in a hot water-soap solution. Do not use synthetic detergents or oily based soaps. Rinse copiously in hot water and follow with a thorough rinse in distilled water.
    - Clean the Provox LaryTube using a Provox TubeBrush. The Provox Brush can be used to clean the punctures of a Provox LaryTube with holes.
    - Can be disinfected with boiling water for 5 - 10 minutes.
    - Let the Provox LaryTube cool before reinsertion.
