Hollister Adapt Ostomy Barrier Rings are used to fill in or caulk uneven skin contours near the stoma. They help create a flatter surface and prevent ostomy drainage from getting under the ostomy barrier. Barrier Rings may be cut, stretched, or stacked together to help improve the fit of a pouching system. Thinness and flexibility of these rings allows them to be molded to the shape of the stoma.

More Information

  • Instructions:
    - Wash and dry your skin thoroughly
    - Remove the protective coverings from both sides of the barrier ring and stretch or mold the ring to fit your stoma size
    - Apply the flat side of the ring to the adhesive area of your ostomy pouching system
    - Apply your ostomy pouch as usual
