Medtronic Covidien Curity Cover Sponges are used for heavy to moderate exudating wounds. They are economical, all-purpose sponges with good absorbent capacity. These sponges are filled with a layer of cellulose wadding and covered with non-woven fabric. Cover Sponges retain more liquid than the regular gauze sponges. They are available in different sizes in both sterile and non-sterile. The non-sterile sponges are conveniently indexed in 10s for faster, easier handling.
