Medtronic Covidien Telfa Island Dressing is convenient all-in-one dressing bonded on both sides with perforated non-adherent film. Soft, non-woven backing conforms around wound and seals on all four sides. Ideal dressing for lightly draining wounds that provides protection from external environment. It is a secure dressing for central and peripheral IV sites. Non-adherent Telfa dressing wont disrupt healing tissue.

  • Instructions for use
    -     Choose the dressing size that most closely approximates the wound
    - Wash your hands and gloves
    - Cleanse the wound with normal saline or a commercial wound cleanser according to your institutional protocol
    - Open the package using antiseptic technique
    - Reglove
    - Peel back and remove the paper backing
    - Smooth dressing over the skin
