Medtronic Surgipro II Taper Point Monofilament Polypropylene Suture with CV Needle is an inert, nonabsorbable, sterile Suture composed of an isotactic, crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene and contains polyethylene. It is pigmented blue to enhance visibility. The advanced extrusion process of the polypropylene molecule gives the suture a uniform diameter, maximum flexibility of the strand, excellent security with snug and flattened knots, minimal memory and reduced "pig-tailing", and consistent knotting strength.
